BEING HAPPY NEVER GOES OUT OF STYLE

Not all of the journeys we take count .

We take two important journeys in our lives; the first one is a journey to the world where we meet life, take a first breath and become life. The second one is to a world which nobody has ever returned from, a world where only a soul can enter; a world where life becomes death. Although these are the only important journeys in life we take too make journeys during our time here on earth and embark on a lot of missions which are meaningless but we count as meaningful for that moment, we do a lot of things that will probably not count after life.

We spend a lot of time trying to change a lot about ourselves and taking new journeys which we hope will lead us to a better place, most of the journeys we take are painful, dangerous and adventurous. We lose a lot in some and gain a lot from some.

Amongst all the journeys we take there is a journey from childhood to adulthood, a journey from immaturity to maturity as well as a journey from being weak to being strong or tough. During these journeys we meet all kinds of characters, whom are all seeking something or are heading somewhere.

We meet people who break us and people who repair us, people who see only the worst in us and people who only see the best in us. We meet people who make us wish we never took a journey to life in the first place and people who make us feel like life is the best thing that has ever happened to us.

It does not really matter who you meet or when and where you meet them, what matters is how you treat them and how they remember you once you gone. It does not matter what you go through or who puts you through it, what matters is how you handle it and that you forgive them. No matter how many journeys we take or how many missions life hands us, what matters is reaching the end with no regrets.

It may seem impossible not to have regrets but regrets come from being angry at yourself, let go of all the anger and appreciate the small things that many think do not count. Many people value money and status but those things cannot heal the soul, peace and forgiveness heal the soul. Stop investing yourself on material things and meaningless journeys because only two journeys count in life and those journeys are life and death. Stop giving yourself to things that will not give you anything back in return.

Stop focusing on things that complicate your life and your two journeys. Stop feeding the monsters you meet during your meaningless journeys and just be happy because being happy never gets old or goes out of style.
